Leon Marchand: Sets the Swimming Arena Ablaze in Paris
French swimmer Leon Marchand 22-year-old has grabbed the Olympic spotlight and shattered all previous records. In what can be termed a combination of perseverance and brilliance.
The French swimmer has set the record for clinching 4 individual Gold medals in one Olympic edition a first in the Games history. Leon won Gold in all the Swimming Categories Men’s 200m Breastroke, Men’s 200metere Butterfly Men’s 200-meter Medley and Men’s 400-meter Individual Medley.
A student of
Arizona State University, Leon is the current
world champion in the 400 meter Individual Medley. This instance of a
swimmer clinching four Gold Medals leaving behind 195 nations and equalizing
the legendary swimmer Michael Phelps with age by his side this 22-year youth
sensation with age and support by his side will surely be the one to watch in
the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics where he might
break Michael Phelps record of 8
individual Gold Medals. While the
earlier feat looks difficult but certainly not denial able with the youngster’s
dedication has made him the new Swimming sensation and also his achievement
highlights that with one’s consistent efforts, training and patience indicates
that records are meant to be broken.

Bowman who had previously coached Phelps the coach was found short of adequate
words. “"It was just a complete success in terms of
the way I see things. He’s just 100 percent. I’m so proud of him. It takes a lot to be perfect” the proud coach
said.
The 22-year old’s fellow
competitors had nothing but immense respect and praise for the French athlete. . Britain’s Scott who won Silver.
said that the impact Marchand has left behind is immeasurable.

second. The atmosphere was nothing short of electrifying.
