US Diplomats "Tour Arround the Country": Is Something Cooking Behind?
A three-member delegation of US diplomats visited Srinagar on 26th August ahead of the Assembly elections in the Union Territory after a gap of 10 years.
"The visit is well within the boundaries of diplomatic
outreach mechanism of the US State Department," a senior government
official told. According to the official, the visits are not unusual as
similar visits with diplomats were common in the erstwhile state of Jammu and
Kashmir. "They get a chance to make on-ground assessments," he said.
We would like to know why Mr. Omar Abdulla and the US delegates met before the Jammu and Kashmir elections. What intentions do they have? The US delegate met with the leaders of Janta Dal United and Shri Chandrababu Naidu and visited Jammu & Kashmir.
If we pay great attention, there is
definitely something cooking behind the visits. Their goals are different.
The Bangladeshi government of Sheikh Haseena had already been overthrown by the
US. The US and the "Deep State" are against the current Indian
administration. They aim to exert pressure on the government to prevent the
strict decisions that are supposed to be made.
There are many ifs and buts since US delegates are
constantly seeing rival leaders in India. Remarkably, the leaders are making
statements following their trips that demonstrate how the US is meddling in our
domestic affairs.
The main reason this most recent visit is noteworthy is
because Omar Abdullah, the vice president of the National Conference, was met
by US diplomats. With elections coming up, the BJP has called this conference a
conspiracy and accused the NC of plotting against India.
US officials convened at the Peoples Conference Sajjad Lone
on August 16. Later, they went to Omar Abdullah's house in Gupkar, the Vice
President of the National Conference. First Secretary Gary Applegarth,
Political Counselor Abhiram Ghadyalpatil, and Minister-Counselor for Political
Affairs Graham Mayer were among the delegation members. Aga Ruhullah Mehdi, a
senior leader and member of parliament, was also present during the meeting.
The NC released a
brief statement saying, "Discussions covered a wide range of issues
concerning Jammu and Kashmir and the region at large." Ruhullah Mehdi's
participation at the conference incited the BJP, which accused the NC of
"scheming with whites" to win the poll, given his strong position
against the abrogation of Article 370 and his repeated calls for its
restoration.
"If Indian delegates meet US leaders like Mr. Trump or Kamala Harris and give statements in the US?" is a question I would like to ask before we conclude. Please provide your response in the space provided here. "Is our national integrity at stake?" is one obvious thing. Find the gaps where you can connect all the dots!
Very good
