US Diplomats "Tour Arround the Country": Is Something Cooking Behind?

Image
A three-member delegation of US diplomats visited Srinagar on 26th August ahead of the Assembly elections in the Union Territory after a gap of 10 years. "The visit is well within the boundaries of diplomatic outreach mechanism of the US State Department," a senior government official told. According to the official, the visits are not unusual as similar visits with diplomats were common in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. "They get a chance to make on-ground assessments," he said. We would like to know why Mr. Omar Abdulla and the US delegates met before the Jammu and Kashmir elections. What intentions do they have? The US delegate met with the leaders of Janta Dal United and Shri Chandrababu Naidu and visited Jammu & Kashmir. If we pay great attention, there is definitely something cooking behind the visits. Their goals are different. The Bangladeshi government of Sheikh Haseena had already been overthrown by the US. The US and the "Deep Sta...

All Eyes On PM Modi's Visit to Ukraine..

Image
The world is eagerly awaiting Russia and Ukraine's crisis to be resolved. It has been a while, and both sides are still experiencing losses and harm to people. They are struggling economically, so they are looking for someone to take the lead in bringing about peace in the area. India now has a role to play, and it is right to seize this chance to expand its horizons. NATO members are fully aware that Russia will not listen to calls for a ceasefire from China, Turkey, or any other nation. Ukraine, on the other hand, will follow suit. Another reality is that the US and NATO will continue to wage war despite the economic downturn because they wish to sell Ukraine their defense supplies. Ukraine must pay for all of the defense assistance it currently receives, today or tomorrow. This is the double game that the US and NATO are playing. India is a close friend of Russia, as both the Ukraine and friendly allies are aware. Russia is capable of reaching the stage when it and India c...

PM Modi in Ukraine: Diplomacy in Action

On Wednesday, Modi paid tribute to the leaders of Nawanagar and Kolhapur, two former princely territories that provided refuge to over 6,000 Polish women and children during World War 2. Additionally, he paid respects at the Monument to the Battle of Monte Cassino, which honors the 1944 campaign to seize an abbey perched on a mountaintop close to Rome. This combat claimed the lives of hundreds of Indian soldiers fighting for the British Army.   After completing his engagements in Poland on Thursday, Modi will travel by road and rail to reach Ukraine the following day. Modi said his trip to Kyiv will be a “natural continuation of extensive contacts” between the two sides and lay the foundation for “stronger and more vibrant relations”. Modi and Zelenskyy met on the margins of the last two G7 Summits in Japan and Italy, and have spoken several times on the phone since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. PM Modi’s visit is seen as the strong voice of ...

Manu Bhaker India’s double medal sensation at the Paris Olympics 2024 has shown the definition of perseverance, patience and dedication to the world from facing a pistol malfunction at the Tokyo Olympics to the redemption at Paris the one figure apart from her parents is her coach Jaspal Rana. Jaspal Rana a veteran of Indian shooting and pistol coaching has raised an interesting question while giving an interview to the Bridge Sports said that where is Jitu Rai where is Saurabh Chaudhary who have immensely contributed to Shooting.  Somewhere down the line the system currently needs to create an environment where not only the talent nourishes or sustains but also creates an ecosystem where talent and experience co-exist. It is a systematic failure according to the veteran. If shooting which is the second costliest sport after golf has to sustain then the responsible authorities need to take cognizance and act so that shooting can sustain in India. Leave shooting asides this a...

The US Factor in Bangladesh:A Lesson For India

Image
The former prime Minister of Bangladesh has stated that there was a role of foreign interference in the recent violence and she had mentioned the role of the US in her unceremonious ouster. Last week, fearing for safety amid widespread violence, Sheikh Hasina fled Dhaka in a military aircraft. She is currently in a secure location in India. Now it is quite clear and things are getting clear of the role of the US in Bangladesh.  Sheikh Hasina also claimed that she could have remained in power “if I had surrendered the sovereignty of Saint Martin Island and allowed America to hold sway over the Bay of Bengal”, according to the report. The picture of Dr Yunus says a lot. Even if Sheikh Hasina's participation is the subject of many allegations, one can nevertheless consider the advancements she brought about in Bangladesh after becoming office. Bangladesh's GDP grew steadily while she was in office. In addition, she was successful in suppressing terrorism and managing fanatics....
