S jaishankar goes "The India Way": A Message to China

Image
A clear message was given by EAM S Jaishankar to China. S Jaishankar also stated that the QUAD countries will work together to uphold the free and open rules-based international order and respect the principle of freedom, human rights, sovereignty and territorial integrity of nations. To this China reacted in an agitating manner and blamed India for creating tension, inciting confrontation in the Indo Pacific region. Now China’s role in Asia Pacific is well known to the world. China’s policy is to extend its territorial border and to become a powerful country. China has also blamed the US along with India. But our EAM has once again given back strongly to China. This message is also a sign of India’s foreign policy and strategy. As the world struggles to uphold a rules-based order, only the cooperation of the Quad nations can guarantee that the Indo-Pacific region remains free, open, stable, and secure, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stated on Monday amid mounting conc...

Maldives- China Bonhominess Implications

Image
Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu expressed gratitude to China and India for supporting the country's weak economy and emphasized the significance of both nations in resolving the island nation's impending debt issue and fostering its future growth. President Muizzu stated at an official event on July 26 to commemorate the 59th anniversary of the nation's independence that China and India offer the most assistance in helping the nation pay off its debt. After taking office last year, Mr. Muizzu ran an anti-India campaign platform that called for the expulsion of about 80 Indian military personnel who were using helicopters and donated Dornier aircraft. China, on the other hand, has increased its diplomatic ties with the Maldives since Mr. Muzzu, who is generally recognized as a pro-Beijing politician, came to office.   He travelled to China early this year, and while there, the two nations strengthened their ties to become a comprehensive strategic cooperative partn...

Paris Olympics: "The Rings of Desire"

Image
Around 15000 athletes from 206 countries will compete in the Paris Olympics of 2024, which gets underway today. After a 100-year absence, the games are returning to France. 1924 saw France host the Summer Olympics. Being reorganized after a century makes this a historic time, particularly for France. The fact that France has been actively combating riots, violence, and protests over the past few years makes it extremely relevant as well. To ensure that this international event is successful, France will likewise need to maintain heightened security. The "Rings of Desire and Aspirations" are what the Paris Olympics and the five rings represent. Every participating nation is really eager to have their names associated with medals. Sportspeople have dedicated a great deal of time and effort over the years. They want to win, which is understandable for anyone involved in sports. The Rings are "The Rings of Desire," as I have stated. We want equality and peace to prev...

US aid Millions to Pakistan: "हाथी के दांत खाने कुछ और दिखाने के और होते है"

Image
The United States has announced an additional USD 100 million to Pakistan for its recovery and reconstruction efforts after the devastating floods last year that killed 1,739 and affected 33 million people. US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu told a congressional panel on Tuesday that the allocation will be used to strengthen democracy, fight terrorism, stabilize the country’s economy and prevent Pakistan's reliance on China in FY25. Lu said the US wants to prevent Islamabad's "further overreliance" on Beijing. “China is the past in terms of investment; we are the future,” he added. The Biden administration official said that the US has been struggling to compete with China in the region, with Beijing expanding its military and commercial foothold in the Indo-Pacific. In my opinion, it is common knowledge that the United States of America is not a person's buddy. For self-serving reasons, the US constantly modifies its approach. The US is alway...

NEET Exam and the Blame Game.

Image
The Supreme Court declared on Tuesday that there won't be a retest for the 2024 NEET-UG exam, citing a lack of evidence to support a "systemic breach" or that the "sanctity" of the test had been compromised in light of two isolated question paper leaks.   The bench, led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, said an order, therefore, to order a re-test for 23.33 lakh aspiring medical professionals, many of whom would travel hundreds of kilometers from hometowns to exam centers - would have "big consequences". The opposition leader in the Lok Sabha accused the entire Indian examination system of being a scam yesterday. This claim raises serious concerns about our examination system, which is run by an Independent organization or state government. Following independence, the British educational system was used to adapt both the curriculum and the examination system. Although many educators and leaders called for changes based on our own needs and requirem...

India Should Have Close Eye: Bangladesh Rising Tensions

Image
Bangladesh was eager to see the reservation system loosened. This week's violent student protests against government job quotas in Bangladesh have resulted in at least 105 deaths. The Dhaka Medical College Hospital reports that on Friday, the capital city had at least 52 fatalities. Following the Bangladesh High Court's decision to reinstate a 30% government employment quota for Bangladesh's liberation fighters, as well as their offspring and grandkids, a furious protest broke out. Although this quota was not brand-new, young people and students began to oppose its implementation. When they reached the highways, the situation turned violent. The Supreme Court of Bangladesh heard a challenge to the high court's ruling. The Supreme Court reduced the reservation quota and ruled that 93% of government positions should be awarded on the basis of merit. Sheikh Hasina, the prime minister of Bangladesh, issued an emergency proclamation and ordered the military to put an end ...

Guru Purnima Special: Vishwaguru Bharat Setting a New world Order

Image
Today we are celebrating “Guru Purnima”. First of all my namaskar to all gurus who are the lights on the path of life. In Sanskrit “Guru” means a person or anything who is taking us from darkness towards light. Guru = Gu + Ru. Gu means darkness and Ru means light. In our incredible culture “Guru” is placed above God. When we read our mythology we find even the Gods had “Guru”. To recap, India can potentially become a "Vishwa Guru." India's goal has always been to become the "Vishwa Guru," not to reign over others. India can share its spirituality and ancient, deep wisdom. Furthermore, India is becoming a more powerful nation that can lead other nations.   “India has emerged as a more influential voice. The record of addressing humanitarian and disaster situations since 2014 has clearly established India’s reputation as a first responder in the Indian Ocean. The ambit of India’s activities has also increased towards the Indo-Pacific in the East and to the Gulf...

The Art of Strategy: Celebrating International Chess Day

Image
We're commemorating "International Chess Day" today. International Chess Day is observed on July 20th of each year to honor this age-old game and its influence on society worldwide. On this day in July 1924, the International Chess Federation was founded in Paris. In 1966, UNESCO also recognized this day. This day is observed worldwide to encourage mutual understanding, cultural interchange, and intellectual growth. The history of chess dates back to the sixth century. This game originated in India and has been played since ancient times. It first made its way to Persia before traveling through Arab countries to Europe. Today millions of people play chess and this game has become popular in the world leaving behind the barriers of language, culture and traditions. Chess, often regarded as the "Game of Kings," transcends mere entertainment; it serves as a profound mirror reflecting the complexities of life itself. Each move on the chessboard echoes decisions m...

"Bharat Matters" : US calls on India to end war in Ukraine

Image
The   US now had urged India to use the long-lasting relationship with Russia to stop the Ukraien war. The US State Department spokesperson Mathew Millar said “ "India has a longstanding relationship with Russia. I think that’s well-known. And we have – speaking for the United States – encouraged India to utilize that relationship with Russia, that longstanding relationship and the unique position that they have, to urge President Putin to end his illegal war and to find a just peace, a lasting peace to this conflict; to tell Vladimir Putin to respect the UN Charter, to respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty – sovereignty,"  Prior to this declaration, the Western nations, especially the United States, were not pleased with the Prime Minister's travel to Russia. When Prime Minister Modi visited Russia, they voiced their concerns. The United States of America has declared that India could end the war if it spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin d...

The Shot and The Other Side of America

Image
Donald Trump, the former US president, assassination attempt. Luckily, the bullet that was fired at him went through close to his ear. Once saved, he is presently stable and getting better. Globally speaking, all leaders denounce this incident. "There is no place for violence in democracy," was the prevailing sentiment that emerged.   It goes without saying that violence has no place in any aspect of society. The USA, the world's oldest democracy, is constantly seeking to impart knowledge. In addition to many other issues, American leaders are constantly voicing their support for human values, fundamental rights, and democracy. They think they are the only ones who can say and act in the correct ways. However, this instance has demonstrated how things are now operating in the USA.   India is the world's largest democratic nation, and throughout the 2024 elections, we witnessed how the United States of America made statements and attempted to sway our internal af...

PM Modi’s Russia visit: A combination of strategic autonomy & foreign policy

Image
With his latest visit to Russia, Prime Minister Modi sent a message to the globe, stating that India will never compromise its foreign interests in favor of ongoing geopolitical shifts. This visit also suggests that India is a nation that can withstand international political pressure and stand its ground.   As everyone knows, India and the USA have had positive relations lately as well. Nevertheless, the visit demonstrates how India is balancing its international ties. India has so far rejected calls from the West to denounce the war in Ukraine, opting instead to emphasize the significance of upholding international law, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity.   PM Modi is trying to control China with his visit to Russia. There are currently three developing powers: China, India, and the United States. India is the economy that Russia needs to assist the quickest expansion. India wishes to keep its bilateral ties with Russia intact since they are arguably ...

PM Modi’s visit to Austria: Symbiotic Deepening of ties and a Message for the Western World

Image
As the first Indian prime minister to visit the nation in forty-one years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Austria on July 9–10 was historic. The fact that the visit took place on the 75th anniversary of Austria and India's diplomatic relations further highlighted the long-standing relationship between the two countries. Personally, though, the visit sends a message to the West. Despite being in Europe, Austria is not a member of NATO. It has close ties to Russia as an Eastern European nation. It has maintained bilateral relations with Russia for a long time to document the time when Russia was the USSR. According to historical records, it was aligned with Germany during the Second World War. In 1955, Austria gained its independence. The USSR, US, UK, and France controlled Austria. Following its independence, Austria made the decision to stay neutral and not join NATO. Being an export-oriented nation, their neutrality helped them become more open to business and t...

Vande Mataram in Austria

Image
When Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Austria, Austrian musicians serenaded him with the country's national song, "Vande Mataram." Tuesday marked Modi's arrival in Vienna, where he was greeted with warmth.   Every Indian should feel proud of the day when Austrian musicians performed our national song. People who disrespect the national anthem ought to take note of them. Religion has no power to categorize or limit patriotism. It is an attachment to and sentiment toward our motherland. As Veer Savarkar so aptly stated, those who oppose "Vande Mataram" ought to put their religious beliefs aside. Veer Savarkar also said, “Oh motherland sacrifice for you is like life, and living without you is death” The Indian Prime Minister may be seen in the video watching a group of performers in Vienna, led by the concertmaster and including violinists, sing the song "Vande Mataram." Recent France's Violence is an eye opener to India

Image
India, a diverse and populous democracy with its own set of political and social difficulties, can learn several significant lessons from the recent violence in France following the elections.   Violence erupted across France after left-wing coalitions led in the election. This was a major blow to Marine Le Pen’s ambitions of forming France’s first-hand right government. The demonstrators started running through the streets and causing disturbances. Recently we also have completed elections and a new government has been formed. However, prior to the elections, we were extremely afraid that foreign powers would meddle in the process. Election meddling and disruption by so-called "deep States" have been observed in industrialized and developing nations. They are working for their own goals. The "Deep States" are operating covertly and occasionally overtly to meddle in the domestic affairs of any nation, but particularly those of India. George Soros has publi...

No Dispute can be Resolved on the Battlefield: PM Modi

Image
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. During a discussion, he emphasized the importance of peace and further, he added that no dispute can be resolved on the battlefield. "As a friend, I have always said that for a bright future of our next generation, peace is of utmost importance," Modi said in Hindi during his opening remarks in a meeting with Putin. "But I also know that solutions are not possible on the battleground. Amid bombs, guns, and bullets, solutions and peace talks do not succeed. We will have to follow the peace path only through talks." The Indian leader added, "When innocent children are murdered, one sees them die ... then that pain is unbearable." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy slammed the Indian leader's meeting with Putin as "a devastating blow to peace efforts." "It is a huge disappointment and a devastating blow to peace efforts to see the leader of the world's larg...
